Product Care
Thank you for choosing our handmade polymer clay jewelry! To keep your unique pieces looking beautiful, please follow these care instructions:
Handling and Wear
- Remember, clay jewelry is more delicate than other types. Handle with care!- Avoid bending your pieces. While slightly flexible, bending may lead to breakage.
- Remove jewelry before sleeping, showering, or engaging in vigorous activities.
- Keep away from water to prevent tarnishing of metal components.
- Avoid contact with perfumes, hairsprays, or other chemical products.
Cleaning
- For general cleaning, gently wipe with a soft, dry cloth.- If needed, use a slightly damp cloth with water only. Be extra gentle with hand-painted pieces.
- Do not use acetone, rubbing alcohol, or harsh chemicals, especially on varnished or painted items.
- For pieces without special finishes, you may lightly clean with a cotton swab dipped in acetone.
- For varnished, painted, or decorated pieces, use a baby wipe to gently clean the surface.
Storage
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent yellowing.- Keep pieces separate to avoid scratches. A jewelry box with compartments is ideal.
- Avoid storing near windows or other sunny spots.
Repairs
- If an eye pin falls out, simply reattach it with super glue.- For any other repairs, please contact us rather than attempting fixes yourself.
By following these guidelines, you'll help ensure your polymer clay jewelry remains beautiful for years to come. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out!
